The hope is to progress through all the tutorials on Khan Academy and get a grounding in the idea of commands and the correspondence between a "code" and its output. Upon a comfortable completion of these tutorials we will move on to Code Academy and delved into web design with CSS and/or html.
Another initiative is to understand how computers enter into careers. Here are some flyers from www.weusemath.org that I have converted to some embedded smores!
