The Official SAT Question of the Day

Online Practice

There are many sites that allow students to learn, practice, and master math concepts online, but there are two that are being used in my classes right now.

1.
This an amazing resource that has both videos and practice that flow from basic addition up to differential equations. The picture at the right is a portion of the knowledge map with each node in the math representing a new topic.  Students can progress at their own pace and get video tutorials and hints along the way.

If students add me as a coach I can track their progress and reward their hard work. E-mail me and I'll send you my coach ID.

2.
Students who would prefer to do part of their homework online with the support of video tutorials and quick feedback on their performance, can request a login for on my online classes at TenMarks.  The video below is an example of a problem tackled in Algebra I and briefly reviewed in Algebra II and one of the many videos ten marks links to problems to help offer another explanation of the material.

Send me an e-mail and I'll send you your login and password!

3. Vocabulary Flashcards

This is a work in progress and will be updated weekly, but feel free to flip through these virtual flashcards, take practice vocab quizzes, or play vocabulary games.
